There are already several plug-ins that make using Silverlight Streaming by Windows Live much easier. This is a little who's who of those plug-ins. Hopefully you'll find it useful.
(1) JetFuel is a Windows Live Writer plug-in that relies on Expression Encoder to do pre-roll, post-roll, skinning, and encoding of a video file, before publishing it to Silverlight Streaming. This plug-in was not updated to work with the post RC Silverlight runtime. It will very likely be updated for the MIX '08 timeframe (March 2008).

(2) LighterFuel is a Windows Live Writer plug-in that allows you to browse from within Windows Live Writer all your Silverlight Streaming applications and add them to a blog post, then publish them to your weblog, provided it supports iframes. This relies on the fact that you already have uploaded applications to your SLS account.

(3) Expression Encoder publishing plug-in for Silverlight Streaming is an Expression Encoder plug-in using the extensibility API v1.0 to parse, trim, package and upload the job output directly from EE to SLS. Incidentally, this also provides the iframe code, the same “browse” functionality from within EE as LighterFuel provides within WL Writer, and even a “preview” feature of your apps in SLS. It is available in pre-release on the Microsoft download center.

(4) The Expression Encoder extensibility API has grown and matured, and is now documented in several places, for other people to create their own plug-ins.
