The FeedSync hosted service
Microsoft has deployed a hosted FeedSync incubation service
to help developers build FeedSync endpoints. Developers can use the service to test
their FeedSync services and client applications. We will be providing the source code for the service, so that
developers can use this as the basis for their own service implementations.
See the FeedSync developer page for more information.
Other implementations
The Microsoft Humanitarian Systems team has been using FeedSync in a pilot project. We'll post more about the pilot soon.
In the meantime, you can learn more about MHS and the kind work work they do in this On10 interview.
Ted Okada from MHS briefly discusses their work with FeedSync (known then as SSE, Simple Sharing Extensions) in this
conversation with Jon Udell.
FeedSync (again, known as SSE back then) was also used during the Strong Angel 3 exercise.
