The DTO website makes extensive use of maps to help Dubliners plan their daily commutes or weekend outings. The site, developed in-house by Peter Cranny and utilizing Virtual Earth, also promotes environmental stewardship. For example, interactive route planners include calculators that automatically compute the CO2 emission reduction realized when a journey is taken on foot or bicycle. View

Horsham Town Website The Virtual Horsham website combines Virtual Earth with new custom high resolution images for the entire Horsham town centre area. This is believed to be the first time that an entire urban area has had it's Virtual Earth images updated on this scale. The site also integrates Flash to play audio and display images that are streamed on demand from an custom asp.net application. Other data layers are currently in development that will allow qualifying other Horsham websites to add their own data to the map.
