It says in the Windows Live Platform Terms of Service (TOS) that you reserve the right to charge for the use of the Services. Where can I find information about licensing fees?

Can I write a rich client application for a PC, mobile device, or appliance using Windows Live Platform services?

You can use the Live Search API to develop, distribute, or host an application (e.g. a Web site, intranet site, mobile device application, or personal computer application).

Use of the Microsoft Virtual Earth Platform API is covered by the terms in Virtual Earth Terms of Use.

For other Windows Live Platform services, the TOS only authorizes you to use the services from a Web application used through a Web browser. If you are interested in using these services on rich client applications, contact us at wlserv@microsoft.com.
